Job Summary:
As a Bus Driver for Cooks' Island Bus Passenger Transport LTD, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our school bus routes from Monday to Friday, public bus routes on Saturdays, and various charter services for schools, groups, and churches. You will ensure passengers, especially children, reach their destinations safely and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Buses: Safely drive school buses on assigned routes, public buses on Saturdays, and provide charter services for schools, groups, and churches.

Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to passengers, including children, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws and company policies, conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Route Management: Maintain knowledge of all routes, schedules, and detours, adapting to changes as needed.

Fare Collection: Collect fares and ensure accurate recording of transactions for public routes

.Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatch and report any incidents, delays, or emergencies.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and passenger counts.
Qualifications:

Valid Driver’s License: Full license preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

Experience: Previous experience driving long wheel bus vehicles preferred. Experience driving a manual transmission vehicle required. Must be able to work with children.

Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.

Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Physical Requirements: Must be fit and healthy, able to sit for long periods, assist passengers with mobility issues, and handle luggage as needed. Subject to a health check.

Background Check: Must pass a police check.

Technology Skills: Familiarity with working on computers, tablets, and iPads.

Job Summary:
As a Bus Groomer and Labourer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our buses are clean, presentable, and well-maintained. You will also provide general labor support to the workshop staff, helping with a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our maintenance facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of buses, including sweeping, mopping, washing windows, and removing trash.

Detailing: Ensure buses are detailed to a high standard, including upholstery cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces.

Maintenance Support: Assist workshop staff with basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressures, and performing minor repairs.

As a Junior Panel Beater, you will assist in the repair and restoration of bus bodies, ensuring that our vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. You will work under the supervision of experienced panel beaters and workshop staff, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.
